Monster In The Mist2216 viewsWhitewater Falls NC just after heavy rains. The fog cleared like magic for about ten minutes allowing an old friend to get his first peak at the 400 ft. monster.

Another Pretty Face2161 viewsCould not resist photographing this little cascade just upstream from Bard Falls, located on the Mountains To Sea Trail.
If you have not hiked the MTS Trail, you need to. The trail is so well kept it turns difficult into "just plain pretty'. (1 votes)

Lower Little Lost Cove Falls2136 viewsN 36.02166 W 081.82910
I saw a description of this falls that nearly discouraged me from going here. Glad I did not listen.
This is a very high waterfall that, even in low water, is spectacular.
At the upper falls, use the trail and don't take a short cut down the Butt Slide like we did, an you will have no trouble down and back. It is quiet strenuous though. (1 votes)
