ANNAPOLIS PLUS ONE2071 viewsI had the distinct pleasure of showing four members of the 2013 Annapolis graduating class around my favorite waterfall playground.

As soon as I get their names straight I will post them. From left to right, four Cadets, a friend and new crew member, Steve, and the little brown critter is Pumpkin.

How did the roaming knob get in there? Oh, the Falls is Pine Ridge Falls.

If they had tried a little harder they could have been in the Coast Guard. :)

Reflections2255 viewsThe Red Bud reflection in Buffalo Mountain Camp pond makes us pause to remember where we were August 6, 2012.

Don't pause too long, this pond will be filled with Kayaks and energized kids before you can say "What Flood?"

Forest Service2118 viewsMet this man at the Catawba Falls, NC trail head.

I'll use him to just say thanks to the U.S. Forest Service for all their work on our trails.
Because of their work we have access to one of the worlds great resources, the United States Forest.

If he lets me know his name I'll make him a CREW MEMBER, a distinction most try to avoid.

Monster In The Mist2218 viewsWhitewater Falls NC just after heavy rains. The fog cleared like magic for about ten minutes allowing an old friend to get his first peak at the 400 ft. monster.

Just downstream is a duplicate but, a little harder to hike to.
