Dressed up Abram's Falls1916 viewsWith a fairly good camera, polarizing filter, haze filter and good cloud cover we dressed up Abram's Falls.

Don't expect to see this with the naked eye, it's about 1.3 seconds of exposure.

Maybe the most dangerous falls I have been to. If it's wet the trail and overhang could become very slippery.

Guest River Falls1913 viewsI think the name of the falls is Guest River Falls but, I thik I will always know it as Doug's Falls since his bench (has his plaque on it) offers a good place to just sit, relax and enjoy the falls.

Little Stony Upper-21905 viewsBJ bought me a harmonica to prevent my singing of "Shenandoah".

I know, this ain't the Shenandoah Valley, but it sounds pretty good on the mouth harp and, it does, prevent my singing.

Little Stony Upper-11890 viewsIf you are new to Waterfallin and live within SW Virginia driving distance, this is where you need to go.

I plan a return to visit just this falls, it's that good.
I plan to take my NOTEPAD computer with me to look at my camera results on site.
It's an outdoor photographers learning lab.

Tiny Creek1890 viewsIt's hard to believe this little creek furnishes all the water one sees on the trail. Must be some springs along the way.
