Dry Weather 1607 viewsNiece falls but, dry weather has nearly shut it down. I gave it a *** due to the short, nearly vertical, descent from the trail to the bottom of the falls.

Painter initials1606 viewsTo hike to Painter Creek Falls one must obtain permission from the owner of the property at the trail head. Thanks to that property owner we found a pristine creek and falls. The falls is located about two miles up the creek with only about a fourth of that having a trail.

Thanks to Gene, the owner, and the Forest service for keeping Sampson Mountain a wilderness.

Carmac Falls (small)_1200x900.jpg
Carmac Falls (small)1600 viewsThis part of Carmac Falls is smaller in width than the main falls and is located to the right of the main falls when facing it from downstream.

Both Falls are on private property and open to guest at Evins Mill B&B.

I have been lucky enough to stay at many B&Bs but, none with such an impressive waterfalls, and two waterfalls at that.

It may well be this falls is actually Evans Mill Falls

Drop me an email and I'll tell you how to contact them.
