Dry Weather2429 viewsNiece hike up a good trail and stairs...lots of stairs. Were it not for the stairs this would be easy.

OA on the abiss 2429 viewsThe park is set up real niece, with board walks and platforms but, if one is a serious waterfalls photographer it would take rappelling to get to the bottom of the sinkhole to get a good shot.

Frenchie2427 viewsWent to Normandy to pay my respect to those young men who will never grow old.

Along the river I found the only waterfall I saw on the Seine River Cruise. Unfortunately, it was small and at night.

Yeah, I know the same nation that gave us (US) the Statue Of Liberty has better waterfalls, I just did not go near one.
LAUREL FORK FALLS, TN-1.JPG
Laurel Fork Falls2426 viewsThis is one of the most visited falls in the area due to it's being located on the Appalachian Trail.

To reach the falls and get a good hike, venture up Dennis Cove Road and park at the well marked Appalachian Trail crossing.

There are at least two more falls on the way if you are a little more experienced.

If you want a little more difficult hike, park at the crossing in Hampton, TN.

Mill Creek Falls 2426 viewsAs easy as it gets! The falls is on private property but, being a camping ministry, they are easy to get along with. Please, check in with the camp.
Backbone Rock.jpg
Backbone Rock2425 viewsLocated on TN 133 about 5 miles from Damascus, VA.

The arch is man made for old logging trains. Note the size or the tunnel compared to the lady standing in it. Also notice the notch in the top of the tunnel. That is so the smoke stack of the train could clear the top.

While visiting the park, there is a waterfalls behind the photographer and a cascade in the park behind the lady.

Natural Sidewalk2425 viewsThe best part of the half mile trail is the sidewalk provided by the Arch itself.
