This site is dedicated to waterfalls, mountains, an old aviators memories, with lots of poetic liberties, some just plain made up, and interesting places to visit.

Clear Mountain Stream1660 viewsNothing like a clear mountain stream in early Fall, wish this was the case for Joe Mill Fall Upper.

To the photographers left is old tires, household trash and bed springs that made easy entry to the creek difficult.

Makes me think back to Iron Eyes Cody.

Bare-throated Tiger-Heron1659 viewsFound this aviator looking back at me from a Costa Rico mangrove swamp.

Don't blame me if it aint a "Bare-throated Tiger-Heron". I just used an ID book of birds to find out what it is.

Little Stony Upper-21658 viewsBJ bought me a harmonica to prevent my singing of "Shenandoah".

I know, this ain't the Shenandoah Valley, but it sounds pretty good on the mouth harp and, it does, prevent my singing.

Dressed up Abram's Falls1655 viewsWith a fairly good camera, polarizing filter, haze filter and good cloud cover we dressed up Abram's Falls.

Don't expect to see this with the naked eye, it's about 1.3 seconds of exposure.

Maybe the most dangerous falls I have been to. If it's wet the trail and overhang could become very slippery.

Good Falls...Good Folks!1655 viewsWhen one hikes to waterfalls there is always the chance you will meet someone that is Genuine.

Met the owner of this falls land he was just that, Genuine, straight forward and hard to turn away from and take the photo I came for.

Could have easily pulled up a chair and spent the remaining daylight learning about his life.

Falls and Cascdes1655 viewsThe only difficult part of the trail to this point is gong through the crack in a huge boulder, down a little bit of a slide, hanging from a laurel bush and dropping to the floor of the small canyon. Piece of Cake! I did it and I am older than dirt.
