Guest River2083 viewsThis is typical of what you will see of the Guest River.
There are a couple of larger cascades that I could not get to due to time restrictions but, rest assured I will return in the Fall when the leaves are gone.

Tree Rock2082 viewsCheck out the rock in the tree above Lou. Only explanation I could think of is the tree grew up under the rock, which is now firmly embedded in the fork of the tree.
Got a better explanation send it to us.
ViewFrom Bottom2082 viewsFrom the bottom of lower falls. Falls comes in from top right of photo and does a sharp left turn to escape down the gorge.
Note the "cave" in center of photo.
From this point to top of rock wall measures 270 ft.

Doug Hale2081 viewsSee our "Featured" on Doug Hale. The little plaque under his hand is dedicated to him for his contribution to Guest River Gorge Railtrail.
I am richer because I met Doug and no, I didn't mug him. Besides Doug is still not a pushover. :)
Whetstone Branch Falls2080 viewsThis falls may be further East than any other falls in Tennessee.
The easiest way to reach it is through Taylor Valley Va.
