Pine Ridge Falls2105 viewsAn easy hike up a well maintained trail. In the Clark Creek, TN area off TN HWY 107.

My second wild bear sighting while hiking. There is no photo because I would not hold still long enough for the bear to focus. :}

Cougar?2104 viewsDo Cougars have rings around their tails and wear a mask?

This very day, Sep. 7 2011 two cougars were killed by the Wildlife folks very near our location.
One News report stated they were backed up by the RCMP for crowd control ??? What the heck were they doing, preventing a stampede back to Victoria?

Actually, old Wally here (a name I gave to this obviously dangerous critter) showed up on our B&B lawn and started to explain the rules of engagement to BJ and Myself.

BJ defended her crew, namely me, admirably.

Indian Falls2103 viewsI only classify this as a ** due to there being a small descent and underneath an outcropping of rocks.

Note: both photos of Indian Falls have had water spot removal to make them usable.

WILDERNESS FALLS, TN-1.JPG
Upper Middle2100 viewsThere being another falls above this one and this one being divided into three parts, we call it the
upper part of the middle falls.

We estimated it to be about 150' high. We also plan to return with a Hypsometer for a more accurate measurement and measurement of the cascade of falls located here.
