Bright Sunnny day at Chestnut2139 viewsOne of those rare days of 70^ F, bright Sun and Crew Members Lou, Bol'Dar, RAT, spent on snake infested Chestnut Cove Branch Falls.

Not a good day for photography but, with this crew, who cares, there will be cloudy days for cameras but, not Oldalbatross.

Down Low2138 viewsStill a little sun to the right of the falls. Probably should have used a variable density filter on that area.

Top falls at South Harpers Creek2138 viewsDue to brilliant Sun these photos were difficult, even using filters.

I plan a return trip with better skies.

2137 views4 views Montmerency Falls just outside Quebec City. Note the even crest of the falls.A hydroelectric dam was built across thetop.

A foot bridge is located just below the falls and you can see the city from there as your walk across. For more information http://www.viator.com/Quebec-City-attractions/Montmorency-Falls-Park/d626-a966

River Wall2133 viewsNo, I didn't mean to say river walk. That really is a wall built in the edge of the river.

i would guess, due to it being located in the curve of the river, it prevents the railroad from being washed out.

Too much rain in the mountains makes great waterfalls but, is devastating to railroads that run along the banks of the river.
