King Fisher1995 viewsSorry for the poor quality of the photo, it was taken several hundred yards from the royal subject.
Watched a pair of King fishers feeding and mating for quiet some time but, photographing them was very tough to do since they rarely sit still and were at such a distance.
The photo was taken on my recent trip to Middle Tennessee near Rock Island.
Slim1979 viewsIf slim had been on the freeway instead of a bike way he would be known as a sail snake.
(sail snake: a snake that has been repeatedly run over until flat and dried. Then you can pick it up and sail it like boomerang.)
Not to worry, Slim is living large in Virginia and having a fresh tourist everyday.
