Lower Puncheon Falls1553 viewsAs you can see Lower Puncheon is the remains of an old mill.

Clear Mountain Stream1540 viewsNothing like a clear mountain stream in early Fall, wish this was the case for Joe Mill Fall Upper.

To the photographers left is old tires, household trash and bed springs that made easy entry to the creek difficult.

Makes me think back to Iron Eyes Cody.

Joe Mills Cascades1473 viewsJust after fording Joe Mills Creek one can carefully descend into the creek without trespassing on private property on your left.

There you will find these cascades or, if you like, small falls.

Upper -51480 views A cowardly shot from the road. I had stopped by Clinch Mountain Winery on the way to this falls and got a bottle of HOUND DOG RED, after which, my courage kicked in and with my trusty ROAMING KNOB I jousted Upper Joe Mills falls. I would have made it to the bottom but, unfortunately ran out of Hound Dog Red.

Not true but, sounded good didn't it.
