Wall To Wall Waterfall1531 viewsThe falls at Rock Island, TN are just that, wall to wall.

Due to the leakage from up river through the limestone and back into the lower river there is literally about a mile of waterfalls.

Out of the cliff_1200x900.jpg
Just plain weird1624 viewsYou don't get to myage and not see things most folks would think odd but, this is really andodd thing.

The water just squirts out of the cliff face, not over the top edge of a cliff but, out of the cliff face and below it's top.

Now that I have learned which end of the camera points to the falls I am going to return and get better photos.

Great Falls?1574 viewsThe power company was not generating so, the river was very low. I think this is the non-generating version of Great Falls.

Odd1540 viewsRock Island should probably be listed under odd stuff.

When a dam was built on a "U" turn in the river and the water backed up, due to limestone between the curves that form the "U" water started to seep through to emerge in the wall of the now lower river.

The following photos are the results. Note the water comes out of the cliff.

Near Cookeville, TN and numerous other falls.
