One of every "Airdale's" dreaded duties, if you flew out of Elizabeth City, NC was to fly Ice Patrol from Argentia, Newfoundland. About the equivelent of a thirty day sentence in a freezer.

We actually located and plotted Ice Bergs and forecast their course.
