This site is dedicated to waterfalls, mountains, an old aviators memories, with lots of poetic liberties, some just plain made up, and interesting places to visit.
Being near Tennessee Tech University it is welll used as a swimming hole. I don't know of any better. Deep hole at bottom with a diving platform of eight feet.
BTW, if you are incapable of logical decisions, the State Park Service provided a Ranger to make them for you. Don't be the Dummy that everyone speaks of in past tense .
